It becomes thick and creamy just like whipped cream, without all those hidden calories. I am trying to be more green or eco friendly with my purchases and do wish that a rechargable battery was a option.[.]. The stand is also very handy since I have very little drawer space in my kitchen and I like the simple modern design of it. This product whips low fat milk or soy milk to a frenzy. Even though I use it daily, it is still going strong.
I didn't want to purchase anything very expensive to make the froth for my lattes, and I don't like using a steam frother on a cappucino machine because it is hot, messy and hard to clean. I use a 2 cup glass measuring cup and heat about 1/2 - 3/4 c of milk in the microwave and then whip it for about 30 seconds, pulling up slowly from the bottom of the cup. I like the stainless steel casing because it is modern, durable and very easy to clean. I think my next purchase will have to be a battery charger. I bought this item because I love lattes, but hate having to pay so much for them.
I had heard on a cooking show that low fat milk will whip better than whole milk and they are right. I looks great in my stainless steel kitchen and I keep it right next to my coffee maker.I bought this after Christmas and it came with a battery.
Makes frothy milk for capuccino. The aerolatte stand makes this unit a stand alone, keeps it clean and ready to use. As advertised, the aerolatte preps milk to a frothy foam in about 20 seconds. We use warm milk which does not chill the coffee when making capuccino. The aerolatte is easy to clean and this was one of the best buys for what it does.
Others say that frothing sweetens the taste. Well worth the money. We're making ours at home. Cleans in seconds by running it under water.
They're both great for straight coffee but every now and then my wife and I feel we are missing that great taste of a latte or miso at Starbucks. We've been using a K-cup machine for some time now. Creates a great foam that triples in volume in seconds. I can't really say for sure. It really changes the flavor. By the way, it is smaller than I thought but it really gets the job done and seems well constructed. It just tastes different and we really like it.
Enter this Aerolatte. We wish we had known how easy this was. Now we've got the real deal. Actually, we have two Keurigs and one Breville.
Not a big fan of Starbucks coffee in general -- too strong and burnt -- but put enough steamed and frothed milk in it and it is quite delicious. It isn't just the different texure. Seems like this little appliance is gonna save us some serious money. Like everything else, it only took the right tool.
No more trips to Starbucks. Just came in and wow are we happy. No expensive coffee and tip and no wasted gas getting there.
This has been a great tool around our coffeemaker for more than a year now. I don't know how I got by without one. Whips up milk in no time and much easier than steaming it.
this frother is tricky and usually makes a big old mess with any false move.not what i thought it would be.
